Student Support

Educational excellence occurs in an environment that
engages the heart, intellect, body, and soul.

Intent on educating the whole girl, each division incorporates opportunities outside of academia where students can discuss topics relating to general well-being.

Our Human Development program is grounded in the developmental needs of girls to support their emotional, social, and physical growth. We also build study skills and time management into academic classes to promote a balance between time spent on school work and outside interests.

Distinctly Westridge

Peer-to-Peer Counseling: Upper School students who complete a yearlong Peer-to-Peer intensive elective course in successive years can become peer instructors and coordinators, and advanced students are encouraged to volunteer in community programs such as the suicide prevention hotline, teen line, and violence prevention hotlines.

Counseling: Westridge employs a full time, licensed school counselor who provides brief supportive counseling for students in distress. We also provide a valuable list of referrals and resources to parents regarding a variety of developmental, social, emotional, and educational needs.
