Upper School History Teacher
B.A., Sociology, Vassar College
Since 1991, Willa has been an active member of many facets of the Westridge community. Outside of classroom teaching, she is co-director of the Westridge Summer Program, History Department chair, Upper School faculty advisor, faculty representative to the Faculty Professional Development and Renewal (FPDR) Committee, member of the Diversity and Unity Committee, and a member of the Faculty Advisory Committee. Other roles Willa has served at Westridge include Dean of Humanities and the Arts and Assistant Head for Middle School. Prior to Westridge, she taught in Poughkeepsie, New York and has taught high school courses in ancient history, European history, and government. Willa has a passion for travel and animals, having participated in volunteer work through the Humane Society, the Los Angeles Zoo, and the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary in Namibia, Africa. Her daughter, Kallie, is a member of the Westridge Class of 2019.
