Jessica Perez del Toro, Ed.D.
Upper School Spanish Teacher, Partnership for Success! Site Director

Jessica has taught Spanish at both the Middle and Upper School levels at Westridge since 2015 and served as the school’s dean of Student Voices from 2016-2019. As dean, Jessica worked with student leaders who are focused on community education around diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has been driven by an interest in social justice and educational equity and access. In 2017, she completed a doctorate in Educational Leadership from UCLA. Her dissertation focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion in independent schools. Jessica is also the Westridge site director for the Partnership for Success! program, a partnership between the Pasadena Unified School District and four local independent schools. Prior to joining the Westridge team, she was a Spanish/English dual language immersion teacher at San Rafael Elementary School. Her interests include swimming, cycling, running, and spending time with her family.
