Jim joined Westridge in 2007 from Harvard University where he was a lecturer on education. His more than 40 years in education includes teaching English and serving as college counselor, academic dean, and assistant head of school at Chadwick School in Palos Verdes, Calif. Jim has contributed significantly to the forward momentum of Westridge School through his participation in the development of the Strategic Plan and the Westridge Research Initiative, and coordination of the 2011 and 2017 accreditation self-studies. He is a past chair of the Westridge English Department. A published author of numerous academic papers, Jim’s interests include reading, skiing, hiking, and acrostic puzzles.
