Lorri came to Westridge in 2011 as a visiting artist, joining the faculty in 2015. She teaches ceramics, sculpture, and digital imaging. Her extensive educational career spans high school and college-level instruction, including Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Miss Porter’s School for Girls in Farmington, CT, East Los Angeles College, Los Angeles City College, and California State University, Los Angeles. Lorri was a participating artist in the 2014 Festival of the Arts as part of Westridge’s Centennial celebration with both her bread tag sculptures and her mobile art exhibit Idea Truck. In addition to being an artist and teaching, she is currently the Creative and Executive Director of NewTown, a non-profit arts presenter headquartered in Pasadena. She is the proud mother of two children and two pups.
