Paul T. Stephenson
Upper School Choral Music Teacher
B.A., History, Westmont College
Paul has held teaching and administrative roles at Westridge since 1993. In addition to classroom teaching and directing the Madrigals, Glee Club and Intermediate Choir, and Chorale, he is a class advisor, music department chair, and previously was director of the Westridge Summer Program. Paul is an accomplished vocal soloist and was a member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale for ten years. He served as the baritone soloist for the Los Angeles Bach Festival and at the First Congregational Church, Los Angeles and All Saints Episcopal Church, Pasadena. He has been the accompanist for several choral organizations. He has served as Music Director at Altadena United Methodist Church, Trinity Lutheran Church in Pasadena and he was recently hired to be the Music Director/Organist at The Church of the Transfiguration, Episcopal in Arcadia. He founded and was the music director of Jubilate! A Boys’ Choir, Colleague of the American Guild of Organists, and was named a 2008 Bravo Award Finalist for Arts Education.
